We provide an extensive training programme and surgeries to our clients. Outlined below are a number of key topics that we have recently delivered on. We can provide comprehensive day-long sessions or shorter sessions to meet your needs.

A half-day interactive workshop on the legal implications, underpinning actions taken and procedures followed. The workshop will cover:

Right to manage

This one hour session will focus on the process of right to manage.

Collective enfranchisement

A two hour session on processes to effect collective enfranchisement, lease extensions and individual acquisitions of freeholds.

Issues related to leases (residential and commercial)

Session including s146 Notices forfeiture and possesions.

Lease variation

A one hour session discussing how to vary leases – by mutual consent, or by application to the FTT.

Health & safety

A one hour session on Risk Assesments with insurance specialists Blockinsure.

Your guide to the First-tier Tribunal (FTT)

A half day session detailing how to process the different types of claims dealt with by the Tribunal.

Nuisance

A one hour session on abatement of private nuisance, breach of insurance type covenants in leases and the enforcement of such covenants.

Section 20 process

A session designed to outline the correct consultation process for ‘major works’ and long term qualifying agreements including service of notices, time scales.

Insurance for residential managed blocks

Short informative session on FTT legal costs insurance and / or block insurance policies for managing agents and landlords.

Debt management for small and medium enterprises

Practical session on effective credit control processes Do’s and Don’ts when instructing solicitors.
